I had best team any first time

Having worked in the business for 10 years, Nitya Mehra felt it was the correct time to make her directorial debut with 'Baar Dekho'.

Nitya, who has already helped prevalent chiefs like Ang Lee, Farhan Akhtar and Mira Nair, says she had the best group any first time executive could request.

"I wind up in a benefit position that the sort of makers and performing artists I had for my first film. I had Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani, Karan Johar, Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif. I had the best group that any first time executive or any chief could request," she told PTI.

"They had faith in the script so much that they came and worked together with me so I couldn't have requested anything better."

Exclusively heading the obligation of bearing surprisingly did not make Nitya on edge at all as she generally knew she needed to do that in her life.

"I've labored for a long time now in the business so it wasn't anything that I was frightened of. I was agreeable on the sets, it was simple."

Nitya uncovered that it was after creation exercises which were more troublesome for her.

"The critical step for me is the advancement and discussing the film. Some of the time it makes me feel like I would prefer not to discuss the film. I need individuals to come and watch it. It has been the hardest part.

"As far as making the film, I was extremely energized on the grounds that I have for the longest time been itching to be a chief so it was much the same as living my fantasy," she said.

Lauding her star cast Nitya said, "Sidharth is crisp and new. He extremely tests with the sort of movies he goes up against and I find that exceptionally charming about him.

"While Katrina is somebody, who has been working in the business for so long, and I don't think anybody has tapped the side of her that we attempted to appear in 'Baar Dekho.' She is playing an undeniable character. We attempted to imbue Diya with genuine Katrina," she included.

Expounding on the sort of movies she might want to make in future, she said, "'Baar Dekho' is a decent case of the sort of movies I need to make.

"I appreciate romantic tales however I additionally appreciate high idea romantic tales and I'm exceptionally captivated by the human personality so I think it will be about connections and psyche," she said.
