Tiger Shroff to star in Student of the Year

Producer Karan Johar on Monday reported spin-off of the 2012 film "Understudy of the year" (SOTY) with performer Tiger Shroff as the male lead.

Karan took to Twitter to affirm the news that was doing the rounds about Tiger being reserved in for "Understudy of the Year 2".

He posted: "It's official...Directed by Punit Malhotra 'Understudy of the Year 2' ('SOTY2') with Tiger Shroff."

Tiger, who is anticipating the arrival of his superhero film "A Flying Jet", is eager to be a piece of the venture.

Tiger tweeted: "Twisted up and charged sir! Yippee Karan Johar, Punit Malhotra, 'Understudy of the Year 2'."

"Understudy of It" is a transitioning lighthearted comedy, which was delivered by Hiroo Yash Johar under the standard of Dharma Creations and in a joint effort with hotshot Shah Rukh Khan's generation flag Red Chillies Stimulation.

Coordinated by Karan, the film denoted the introduction of performing artists Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan.

Furthermore, Sidharth shared that he "can hardly wait to watch" the second part of the hit film.

He tweeted: "Sounds energizing Karan Johar can hardly wait to watch it good luck Punit Malhotra and Tiger Shroff."
